Gary and Lilian, I had a eureka! moment reading this piece. It rings true for me. By the way, about swimming and eating. My parents did not know about the general "wisdom". I somehow did - from other kids who did not go swimming after lunch. But I was already going swimming whenever I felt like it, so continued. Good to know that sometimes lack of knowledge protects us.
In general, the few things we have learned about health are useless. I have a masters in biology. And started to make a small test to find out.
Stress reduction is key to most diseases. Probably also cancer diseases. I know several people that gave up traditional treatment and started some form of stress reduction and survived.
A stressed body does not have a well-functioning immune system, so all sorts of diseases will flare up
I grew up with parents who were all for alternative stuff. I've been for alternative stuff as well all my life. Then, I've certainly lived with stress, despite all I knew!!! Somehow my body has done a fabulous job taking care of "me." On the other hand, the less stress, the better. I also see how people have been "stressed" (made terrified) to go along with lockdowns, mandates, dangerous injections. A big thing for me, with what interests you and Gary, is applying this to society. Stress, I'm guessing, lowers empathy, which Political Ponerology sees as the root of evil in politics.
Love this. Makes such sense to me. Fits with my knowledge. I think, for instance, of Donna Edens, who went from wheelchair and ever worsening to healthy for decades - in her case, opening energy channels. My big question: how do we use this for way more than chronic diseases - or rather for the biggest chronic disease I see: the mind-numbing that is so prevalent. Do people need to want to de-numb? Or will anti-stress techniques work to de-numb naturally? But there is so much on de-stressing - and people stay mind-numbed. Gary and Lilian, I'd love to talk with the 2 of you about this. Is this what would crack the clutch of the current brain-numbing?
If you have a podcast or similar, I will love to talk to you. I am helping Gary out of his Parkinsons disease. We struggle to find an audience to all our knowledge so if you can help us please do. 90% of the population have the believe that body and mind are seperated. And this includes most doctors.
You use the word numb. There is some of what you say that do not translate to an extent that I dare to answer.
What you call opening energi channels I call go out of you instincts to the calm state
Mind numbing? Is that all the people that have the beliefe that you can do nothing to help yourself?
I find that a few people get convinsed after several times have seen that their symptoms fade away after a sessions. For hours or sometimes days.
Crack the brain numing. If it againis the 90% that ae stuck in the old belief it is harder than this. Follow the money and you will find out that fb and google are supressing searches to these things. An alternative therapist are not alowed to make an add and tell what they can do.
No studies are made about destressing. This is a matter of lack of communication and some sensurship. https://youtu.be/GSsvSdk5WSk
I still do have such a list. There are ebbs and flows, as my interests shifts. I've also had a web site with 60,000 views a month. The site is down to 20,000 views a month (about). But mainly poetry!! I have other sites as well. But main "connection source" - the list, now mainly via Substack.
FB is censuring us. Lately links from messenger that are removed or delayed. Very annoying. So it is like leaving a sinking ship. Hope this one is floating :-D
Glad to help. I'll write a piece or 2, on your concerns and how they connect with social concerns.
Substack. It took be quite a quite to get on here. I could not believe something like this existed - freedom of thought and speech. FB - for me it's been sinking for over a decade.
I'm very careful there, and also LinkedIn - because of connections I do have and don't want to lose.
I hope the Substack creators keep it, don't let untrustworthy forces buy it.
You should (if you haven't already) look in PSYCH-K. Bruce Lipton is a big proponent of the process. It's a way to reprogram your subconscious quickly. And since your subconscious runs 95% of what is going on with your biology, it's powerful. I have used this for my personal growth and for my physical body. I hope it's of help to you and your readers.
Well this process might be a tool you use with your clients. I love Gabor's work. I also having used PSYCH-K myself know it's rapid and long lasting benefits. I had stomach pain for 35 years. I always sensed it wasn't physical. It resolved in a matter of a few minutes with PSYCH-K. And it sounds unbelievable, but for me, I believe our subconscious mind is the most powerful healing source we have. PSYCH-K helps you ask the questions of your subconscious, find the answers and transform beliefs and perceptions. It's an upstream process versus a lot of what we "do" in action and behavior is a downstream process that is markedly less effective. You can chant "I love myself" for 22 days, 3 minutes 3 times a day (an example of cognitive action) and most often this won't work. Or use PSYCH-K to see if your subconscious has the belief "I love myself ". If not, then reprogram your subconscious to have this better, life enhancing belief. It's an energy psychology technique like hypnosis or EMDR but the client is 100% in the power seat unlike hypnosis where the practitioner is in control. So it's client-centered and controlled. Giving clients their autonomy and agency is the power of PSYCH-K.
Modern medicine doesn't understand chronic diseases because it can't cure them. How is an illness cured? By addressing the present cause. What is the cause of a chronic illness? A chronic illness has a chronic present cause. The key to curing a chronic illness is to address the "chronic nature" of the cause. The cause of obesity is not overeating and underexercising, it is "chronic" overeating and chronic underexercising. The cause of chronic smoker's cough is not smoking, it is "chronic smoking." The cause of chronic gum infection,(gingivitis) is not bacteria, it is chronic unhealthy mouth. The cause of chronic disease x is not the cause of x, it is "chronic" cause of x. But, addressing the "chronic nature of a cause" is not a medicine, it's a healthicines. Modern medicine does not consider healthy actions to be cures - so chronic diseases are incurable.
There is an extra layer to what you are saying: and that is 5xWHY (a lean term).
Why do john overeat: He need to comfort himself
Why do john need to comfort himself: He so very easily feel lonely
Why do john feel lonely: He do not have a lot of friends
Why do John not have a lot of friends: He got bullied in school and lost his confidence.
Why did he loose his confidence: Because his nature installed a bodymemory(=trauma) that trigger him with shame when he is out among other people, so he prefere solitude.
ANd this bodymemory we can solve, so he do not need to overeat, and feel like going to the gym again as he has resolve the connected shame
Interesting. Take care with "past causes" they can be used for analysis - but cannot be accessed to cure. To cure they must be translated into their present cause.
I meant to say that only causes in the "present" can be accessed to cure. We might address the present consequences of childhood traums, but we cannot access the trauma in the past.
I guess it is more a philosophical issue. Only the NOW is where we can do anything. But I help people to access the old trauma and find a happy ending :-)
That is fantastic that you can become better via food. :-D
We must find our own way. I am helping people with stress reduction :-)
A lot of people eat low quality food without becomming diseased. So food is seldom the root cause.
But the healing can come in so many ways. Stable blood sugar is making things a lot easier.
If you are in lack of a vitamin or mineral, getting these can make life a lot easier.
Mindfull cooking and hope is very important.
I consider food to be personal or country specific. E.g. In Denmark 40% of the population lack vitamin D. So getting that via food will help most diseases.
I have not been able to find a common denominator in food and chronic diseases. But stress and a troublefull life is a common denominator. So all people will benefit from reducing stress.
I found grains to be pretty common problem for most people although most are unaware of the damage they can do. It seems to stand out more when they have other issues too.
Grains. Yes we are not ment to digest grain. That is for ruminants.
So that is one thing people are slowly leaving. More and more experimenting with high fat, low carp and keto. Me too, even I do not have problems as such. I get a more stable bloodsugar and do not need to eat as much. So it is easier to keep my weight.

Yes he is one of the Gurus :-). There is a lot of interesting people out there.
I find Gabor Mattes work good as he focus on trauma and mental health.
I think my job is to tell you all that it also apply to a lot of diseases. They estimate 90% of all diseases.
So I work with clients 1:1 to release underlying trauma and what I call body memmories, so people can come back to good health again :-)
Well this process might be a tool you use with your clients. I love Gabor's work. I also having used PSYCH-K myself know it's rapid and long lasting benefits. I had stomach pain for 35 years.
