Yes! This fawn response explains why people who questioned the governments when it came to COVID, go along with horrible wars, trusting the same governments!

It used to annoy me, but these days I see them like emotional robots.

I hope this crap becomes less common, but there's a feedback loop. A maladjusted society leads to people who are maladjusted.

Perhaps the issue is that instead of wanting to know the truth, they just want to know what's the most correct thing to say. Correct is relative to the tribe and is not always the truth.

It will be years before we know what the truth is, if ever.

We can at least understand where it came from.

To understand that we have been part of it for most of our lives. To be blind to what advertising has done to our food and clothes, our habits and our need for "things". We are getting a new awareness and that is good. My English is not good enough to walk the narrow path and answer your questions directly.

Just think that you probably have your share of these instincts. So better to understand other people will help you and the future. It is not them against us :-).

You were probably a "robot" in some areas some years ago.

I trusted what I read about science and eating habits and lived the dream that I should earn more and buy more stuff.

I woke up from that 7 years ago after a concussion where I had to reinvent myself.

As a coach, therapist and getting closer to our natural food. Found out the "truth" about Parkinson's and other chronic diseases. Yes, you can get better, more a matter of your persistence

Yes, I was a robot in many ways too.

Now I'm learning to listen to my body when I'm in a bad mood.

I also allow myself to have negative thoughts and anger. In fact, the more I acknowledge why I have these negative feelings, the less they show up in my body.

Your therapy along with others are important to reconnect to the body.

This piece brings to mind the friend who got me to be aware of this response.

When asked if I love my mother, I say "oh, it's WAY more than love. It's more like the Stockholm syndrome"...

I guess that confuses people a lot. :-D

A lot of people think that ALL families are like theirs, but as children has nowere to go, they must adabt.

Unfortunatly it is how nearly all people are shaped. Fashion could not exist without an element of FAWN.
