Her story is important. It needs to be honored. If not by others, then at least by herself. So many people are so busy with their own other concerns. Some come around at different times. Some never come back around. But her story is valuable. Thanks for sharing it.🙏🤗
One of my messages is that we must spread the hope. "If one can become better, so can others". Science forget to track the numbers of people getting better
I feel that these experiences , full on crisis , and actual recovery from such a crisis , are helpful not just for people with physical problems , but also for the whole cultural story we are going through right now -- we are moving through a major glitch in the whole natural system , and knowing that there is a path through , and how to get on that path -- is what you gentlewomen are doing . I cared for a Parkinsons patient after going through an enourmous family crisis , and then , that work and the subsequent work , again with a Parkinsons patient was absolutely traumatizing to my psyche . I have focused on my body strength , health , and rest , but had to actively heal from the trauma . That is why I continue to study for clues . This is what I came to the other day : I can't have a relationship with a disease , a syndrome , or a psychosis . These are all like virus's , or programs , or what is called in fancy words , " Pathology " a pattern of action that does not support the structure that it is co existing with . Like Rust on a Bicicle chain , it must be removed . If you have a relationship with it , eventually your legs will not over come the drag of rusty ness . When disease hides inside of behavior , it can trick the self , or the people around the self , to relate to it . But you can't . Its not ever going to react back . It does not care at all . I used to call Parkinsons' the ornery horse that Ellie was riding , and knew that that horse would throw her , and kick me for good measure . Sure , I learned how to placate Parkinson , and learned a lot from the experience about brain chemistry , and movement , and emotion , but ... I have learned to recognize the difference between the Horse Named Spirit , that we all ride , and that bad confused poorly trained horse named Parkinson .
I am adding on here , and please , I type fast and love to share my thoughts , so excuse my verbosity ! But -- to add to the idea that you can't have a relationship with a disease , only with health , is the idea that only in relationship does energy arrive . The quantum reality is about understanding what relationship is about , and essentially it is about mirror energy . When the story outside is matched by the story inside , let's say , your warm cozy body gets into a warm cozy bed , and suddenly there is a safe relationship , and the body can experience a new and necessary cycle of sleep , rest and dreaming . So knowing that a relationship is necessary to allow for new situations - new energy - new thoughts - new experiences - and inside of the fresh incoming , we can re balance and locate our core . Matching the world around us , can get us into trouble , because the world around us is more and more mechanized , and less and less holistic and biological . Just being in Nature , heals . Ok , one more story , my little dog Blue is a Scottish Terrier , he was Ellie's and I took him home with me after she left the earth . He can go into places in the woods , like under the briars , and then he feels all like a big shot . The other day , walking in the woods , he went through all the brambles and found this carpet of moss , next to a big tree that had some creatures little safe hole inside the roots . So , I have to get through the brambles and get to him , and it was like such a story book picture -- he was standing there , all King of his Castle, on the lime green moss carpet , infront of the tree , just so peaceful . And it's like , just to know that there IS a place like that for all of us , after all the brambles and thorns , that is just paradise .
Great words Jennifer, wonderful story. Thanks for sharing this!! Relationships are everything - this is the topic of pretty much my whole life. Your comments are stretching me on that. I’ll think on this some more. Thank you so much
I think you should read all my post. Then you will understand what sort of horse Parkinsons is.
It is a strong wild untamed horse, that is so totally misunderstood.
The day we understand it we can ride with the spirit and the wild one.
The one you are talking about is not natural... it is due to medication.. I think you can find the archive and quickly read all.. Because you also have the wild horse, that is so terrible misunderstood in the modern world.. our instincts. (Frozen in fear=Freeze/dear in headlight, shaken as an aspen tree = fight and flight
I do not have Parkinson's - I cared for two women who were diagnosed with the symptoms - I do not mean to write into your story , and I do not know what your relationship is with the symptoms . I was not a horseback rider , although I love watching horses run . When I would get on , they would always do something to get me off their backs . Thus , the idea that the symptoms are like a stable horse misbehaving . In your experience , you are saying that the "horse " - the natural body reaction is a healthy and natural response . I get what you are saying and I agree . I recently read a woman who is a horsewoman talking about finally seeing that most horse man relationships are based on trauma and pain in the horses mouth . She met someone who was training and riding horses with no bridle , halter or saddle . She had to go back to the barn , and re learn everything she thought she knew . I have seen that , the horses that perform at Versailles , dancing and moving with no domination over them . I get what you are saying . Jen
exactly.. Symptoms are natural and healthy. If we did not have hunger we would die. If we did not have the urge to pee, we would die.. So symptoms are just other signals from a body in despair trying to communicate with us
Every case of cured is a story, an anecdote. Anecdotal cures are ignored by our medical systems. But that's not why. Our medical systems ignore ALL cured cases. No doctor tracks cured patients. No medical clinic, hospital, medical system nor medical insurance company tracks cured patients. Instead, they avoid the word cured while permitting words like "recovered," "healed," and "NED (no evidence of disease) - which are defined less clearly than cured. Why is it not permitted to say "cured?" Because most cures, most cases of cured, do not come from medicines, do not come from medical treatments. Most cures come from improvements in health by non-patented non-medical actions. And Parkinson's? Suppose a case of Parkinson's has two, three, four, or five causes, each of which, independently, can cause minor symptoms and damage exhibited in Parkinson's patients. Then suppose that one, two, three, or four of those causes are successfully addressed - by improvements in healthiness. What happens? The patient "recovers" some of the functioning, some of the normality they had before Parkinson's. Some of the damage done by the disease might be incurable. From the perspective of a theory of cure: "an illness is cured when the cause has been successfully addressed." If three causes of five were successfully addressed - three elements of illness were cured. But our medical systems, without any interest in studying cured cases cannot recognize a cure. In addition, the mindset of ignoring cured cases is extended to cases where five causes of five are successfully addressed. These cases are rare, so they are considered "anecdotal" as in "cannot be proven." So all partial cures are ignored, and all complete cures are ignored. It's not just Parkinson's. With the exception of an infectious disease cured by an approved medical treatment, our current medical systems cannot recognize a case of cured. In addition, when a case is cured - nobody cares. Cured cases are not important. Nothing to see here. Move long.
You are right. It is strange. I have one argument that talk FOR not using the word cure. And it is that eg. Parkinsons is not a disease. It is a state of the body. It is a person being stuck in fight flight and freeze for too long time of a day. Nearly all people with Parkinsons have minuttes or even hours every day without symptoms... If nothing else on vacations. they are here calm and out of Fight flight and freeze... Just look at our pets that have the same symptoms. But here we know it is stress. Maybe look at my oldest posts. They are very short
Cured is not medically defined for Parkinson's. It's not about Parkinson's - it's the system. Partially cured is not medically defined for any disease. Recovered is not medically defined either, but the medical establishment can tolerate claims of "recovery" - they are not a threat to the system. Claiming a cure is an offence worth losing your license to practice and being called a quack I met someone who cured her Parkinson's over 20 years ago. The doctor simply dismissed the diagnosis.

Listening now with gratitude for the voices that you are sharing . Thank you for creating this video .
Thank you it means a lot :-)
Fabulous story - and so telling, the lack of interest in recovery stories, meaning ways to recover!
Yes. You can learn so much by listening to the experts that recovered. So hopefully one day Science are turning their head in that direction
